Vineyard care through the seasons

The 2024 vintage was a year of hard work and challenge, during which we nevertheless found the energy to secure and save half of the harvest. Rain arrived at the end of October 2023 and never stopped throughout the entire 2024 growing season. As a result, our vineyard team walked the vines many times over the year, providing both mechanical work and carefully applied spray preparations to ensure the production of healthy, balanced grapes. We care for our vines using natural preparations (no synthetic products). Soil life is stimulated using Horn Manure (Preparation 500), applied in spring in one to two passes, as well as Maria Thun preparation and Horn Silica (Preparation 501) after flowering and, if needed, before harvest. During winter, the vines are pruned short using the single Guyot method, with gentle pruning that respects sap flow. Vineyard density is 6,500 vines per hectare. A careful selection of grapes is carried out in the vineyard by the harvesters before pressing in the estate cellar.

Press

The entire range of the estate deserves exploration, so precisely do the different terroirs express themselves. The cuvée Le Verger is sharpened like the blade of an Opinel knife, with a vibrant energy. We love its saline minerality, which pairs perfectly with the delicate sweetness of a scallop carpaccio with citrus, or the pearly flesh of Speciales oysters. By Gérard Muteaud for Challenges magazine, 2024

In the Muscadet range, the lineup is handled with finesse in 2023, starting with Le Verger, immediately frank and tender. By Alexis Goujard, RVF Guide Vert 2025

EGG IN JELLY — A JOURNEY TOWARDS FRESH WHITES. The Muscadet Le Verger 2020 from Domaine Luneau-Papin offers an excellent alternative in the Loire Valley. This wine, from the village of La Chapelle-Heulin, fully expresses schist both in aroma and palate. Its elegant structure finishes on fine mineral bitters that bring definition and tension. The estate stands out even at entry level, with wines defined by purity and salinity. RVF Art de Vivre, “Accord minute” by Olivier Poussier
