Our History

Our Heritage

Domaine Luneau-Papin is rooted in the union of two legendary winemaking families from the Pays Nantais: the Luneau and Papin familiesTheir viticultural historydeeply anchored in the Muscadet Sevre et Maine vineyards, dates back to the 17th century. The estate as it stands today was established in the 1990s through the shared passion of Pierre Luneau and Monique Papin. Both took over their respective family estates located in Le Landreau and La Chapelle-Heulin to build a reference for Nantes white wines.

The Legacy of Our Elders

Since 2018, Pierre and Monique have been retired, but their vision has left a lasting impression on our Muscadet vineyards. Their work passed down a solid foundation, an open mind, and a sensitive approach to the craft of being a Muscadet Sevre et Maine winemaker.

Today, Domaine Luneau-Papin maintains a double fidelity: to a multi-century family heritage and to a contemporary vision that combines a deep understanding of terroirs, a quest for quality, and a sincere commitment to the earth.
